Creating a group on RakuRaku is a simple three step process: I. Get your cell phone II. A group name is created by you as a moderator or has already been created by another moderator. It is a name which identifies your group in the RakuRaku universe.

A name is your identity within a group in the RakuRaku universe. You choose your name under two circumstances: » When you create a group as a moderator to define your identity within the group. » When you join an existing group to declare your identity as a member of that group.

Moderator is one who registers & hence as a consequence heads the group. Moderator enjoys unique privileges which are detailed below.

Please SMS as follows To create a group: SMS RAKUT REG [account name] [group name] [name] to 57575 Please ensure that your group name is unique. If your choice of group name exists in the RakuRaku universe the system will register your group with a name closest to your choice. The name that you choose should also be unique. A name is associated with a cell number. Hence a name once registered with RakuRaku will only be assigned to the cell number who requested for it first. In case you have requested for a name that already exists RakuRaku will respond with an alternative name created with the closest name possible. For example if you request for PS and it already exists, the system will assign you PS1 or PS2 depending on the availability.

If the group APPROVAL is ON then the POST message is to be approved by moderator of that group, else the message is sent directly to members.

Yes, a member can send a private message to a particular member in the group. Please SMS as follows To post a private message: SMS RAKU PPOST [account name] [group name] [member cell#/name] [message] to 57575 PPOST Private Post does not require moderator approval.

You can invite anyone in your group as long as they have a cell phone number provided by service providers in India. A foreigner using a cell phone on International roaming may also use this service, if using a service provider in India.

There is no limitation to the maximum number of members in a group.

To decline an invitation, you do not have to take any action.

Please SMS as follows To unsubscribe from a group: SMS RAKU OFF [account name] [group name] [Y/N] [member cell #/name] to 57575 Both moderator & members can unsubscribe from a group. In case of creator of the group, member cell or name of the member is compulsory. In case of member of the group, member cell is optional. If you are member of self group, you can not unsubscribe yourself. If you are member of mutual group, you can unsubscribe yourself. If you are creator of mutual group, you can not unsubscribe any member from that group.

Yes, a member also enjoys the facility to invite people in his group after getting the approval of the moderator of his group [in the case of approval on]. If approval function is off, moderator's approval is not required.

RakuRaku needs a group member/moderator to invite you to join Rakuraku. We recommend you to become a moderator by creating your own group & initiate inviting members. RakuRaku is a private universe formed by people who are willing to start a group/join an existing group through invitation only.

Yes, you can avail all the exciting RakuRaku services on the web free of cost except for using messaging services. RakuRaku web support helps you in ways like logging into your account, viewing & managing your group, viewing message log/history and many more.

You will get a message from RakuRaku as soon as you are banned and also when you try to post a message after getting banned. You receive a message saying:  You are no longer a member of [group name]. To register a group: SMS RAKUT REG [account name] [group name] [name] to 57575
